Montana - Glacier National Park

Montana

Going to Montana and Glacier National Park was on my list of "things to do.  For many years, I've heard so many good things about Glacier, 2021 just seemed to be right time to go.  The plan was to fly into Bozeman, head north to Glacier. for 4 days, and then go south towards Wyoming for Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.  We weren't disappointed.  In Glacier, the scenery was spectacular, with amazing, colorful vistas of the "Going to the Sun" road being the highlight.

Wyoming - Yellowstone & Grand Tetons National Park

This is one of my favorite destinations to enjoy scenery and find animals.  Although I have been there in the winter, I find anytime in September or early October is the season I prefer.  No matter how many times I go there, the amazing landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area always leave me breathless and exhilarated.
Besides the magnificent mountains of the Tetons and vast landscapes and spectacular geothermal features of Yellowstone, it's the wildlife that's the real attraction. There are very few places on earth that offer opportunities to see so many animals like moose, elk, bison, mule deer, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, black bears, grizzly bears, coyote, foxes and wolves.  This combined with the beautiful color of autumn and the company off favorite travel companions have given me many great memories of the trips to the state.
